How long does treatment take?
Treatment with Damon® Smile braces is usually much quicker than with traditional braces. It is also nice because you won’t have to come in as frequently for follow-up visits.
Since Damon® Smile braces work so quickly, does that mean the system is harsh or unsafe?
The answer is no. The Damon® Smile system works because it uses gentle forces that are more biologically-sensible than traditional braces, improving your teeth’s position and even making your face more symmetrical. It uses wires that are light in weight, moving your teeth gently to where they should be.
Will my teeth hurt after adjustments?
Though many people complain about discomfort with their traditional braces, with Damon® Smile braces do not cause as much discomfort due to their low force and low friction nature.
Aren’t braces big and bulky?
No! The advancements made in braces are remarkable. They are much smaller than they used to be, and now some options make it so people won’t even realize that you are getting your teeth corrected. You might even forget that you are wearing Damon® Smile braces.
What about getting treatment as an adult?

How much does the Damon® Smile treatment cost?
Cost is a big consideration for patients who are interested in braces. We will be able to discuss the cost with you only after a thorough examination since every mouth is different. The cost is usually close to that of traditional braces.
Will my insurance cover the Damon® Smile treatment?
Since each insurance is different, you will have to look through your policy coverage. Usually if you have coverage for orthodontics, the Damon® Smile treatment should be covered like regular braces would be.

Once you have your treatment plan, we will be happy to discuss the cost of Damon® Smile treatment and the financial options that are available for you. We also offer an interest free payment plan for the duration of your treatment time, or a discounted price for those who wish to pay in full at the starting date of treatment.
