Hello, I am Gabby. I have been working for Dr. Freeman for 8 years. I love what we do because it is very rewarding to see the process our patients go through and achieve a beautiful smile. I have worked in Orthodontics for over 28 years, and still, LOVE it!
I came from Mexico, as a little girl and I remember my dentist leaving a big impression on me (no pun intended) as she was the only girl dentist in my home town of Jalisco. I loved the way I felt after she filled a cavity in my front tooth and restored how it should look. I never forgot that feeling that I felt I could smile again and not be covering my mouth. My confidence was restored. Working in Orthodontics I get to help Dr. Freeman in helping our patients feel the same way. I have worked for Dr. Freeman for 8 years now and I love my job.
For my hobby, I like setting out on the hiking trails. There are so many here I can’t wait to explore them all. I have 3 kids, all adults, and they love it here, it’s the best move we have made as a family.

Hi, my name is Alicia, and I was born and raised on the Central Coast. I moved away for a few years at one point, but there is nothing like home.
I was in Ophthalmology for many years and decided I needed a change. I have now been a dental assistant for a little over 2 years and have learned so much since I have been working with Dr. Freeman. It has been a pleasant learning experience, and Dr. Freeman and the team are amazing and have made working here fun!
On my down time, I love spending time with family, friends, and hanging out at the beach.

Financial and Treatment Coordinator
Hello, my name is Sherryl,
I am a Central Coast native. I am married and have 2 grown Sons. I enjoy traveling with family in the great outdoors exploring all the beauty that nature has to offer. Whether it be trail riding, camping, fishing, canoeing, biking, hiking, or star gazing by the camp fire, I love to be with my family and be as close to the wilderness as we can get. While home at our ranch in Creston, I enjoy cooking, gardening, horseback riding, shooting trap and sporting clays and spending time with family and friends.
I started my career in the financial Industry over 40 years ago. Since January 2011, it has been my pleasure to be a part of Dr. Freeman’s team. I truly enjoy my responsibilities as Financial and Treatment Coordinator. It is so rewarding to witness the transformation of the smiles and lives of both our children and adult patients every day while taking care of the financial details and coordinating treatment here as well as collaborating with other dental and medical professionals.
Dr. Freeman is passionate about what he does as a Specialty Orthodontist. He has genuine concern for his patients, keeps current on the most innovative treatments available and takes great pride in his work. The dedication he has for his craft sets an excellent example to follow and is very motivating. I respect my co-workers and appreciate the diversity and experience they bring to our team as well. Hello! My name is Anvia,
I was born in Santa Barbara County and raised in SLO county. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Freeman as a patient in 2022 when I began my braces journey. In a matter of moments, I was drawn to the team’s genuine smiles and cheerfulness.
Dr. Freeman generously gave me the opportunity to then become part of the JAF smile team shortly after. I have enjoyed every moment since! I love getting to witness, first hand, Dr. Freeman’s passion and brilliance in transforming all his patient’s smiles and seeing how he helps their confidence in their own smile grow (mine included.)
On my days off, I enjoy doing volunteer work at my place of worship and spending time with my family and friends. One of my main hobbies includes writing and living so close to the beach and other beautiful scenic views in SLO county, it’s easy for me to get inspired to write.
