Our friendly, dedicated, and energetic team is committed to working with you and your family to create a positive experience every time you visit our practice. We welcome you with warm smiles to our practice!
Hello. My name is Amy and I have had the pleasure of being a part of Dr. Freeman’s team since 2017. I worked in office administration for 12 years before making a career move into the field of social work. After working in the social work field for nearly 10 years, I chose to hang up that hat and soon after was offered the opportunity to go back to my roots and join Dr. Freeman’s team as a scheduling coordinator. By joining this team, I gained an incredible, fun work family who genuinely cares for one another.
I had always heard wonderful things about Dr. Freeman, so I was not surprised when I witnessed his kindness, generosity, dedication, witty sense of humor and genuine care, not only for his patients but his employees as well. Besides watching Dr. Freeman transform smiles, I love getting to know our patients and their families and to be a part of their orthodontic experience.
In my “me” time, you can find me baking in my kitchen, gardening in my yard or shopping around town. With my wife of 18 years, I enjoy our weekend getaways to Vegas, wine tasting, going to concerts, fine dining and binge-watching reality TV shows together. With our kiddos (26, 23 and 6), we love spending family time together going on hikes, long days at the beach, family barbeques and traveling.
I always enjoy chatting with our patients so I hope to see you soon!
Hi, my name is Teresa. As one of the scheduling coordinators at Dr. Freeman’s office, I have the great pleasure of meeting and greeting each and every one of you. Making you feel comfortable in our office and being able to answer your questions is always my first priority. Getting a smile and a laugh is a very close second, as a day without laughter is a day wasted in my book.
Born and raised in Oregon, so for the record, the correct pronunciation of Willamette as it relates to the Oregon wine region is Will-AM-it. Tillamook has the best cheese. I firmly believe sasquatch resides in the Pacific Northwest.
My family and I are happy to call the beautiful Central Coast our home. On the weekends we do our best to take advantage of the great weather, spending time outside hiking, camping or just working around the house.
Financial and Treatment Coordinator
Hello, my name is Sherryl,
My Husband Dave and I are Central Coast natives. We have 2 grown sons, Darryl (with Malorey, London & Giada) and Shane (with Ari), and many “other babies” which have varied over the years from 9 dogs (Bo is still with us), 5 cats; and 3 horses (Daisy is still with us), to some of our feathered friends including a cockatiel named Mr. Johnson who liked to share the couch with myself and a cat or dog or two. We had various fish at various times, a rat named Gizmo (but I liked to call him Gizzy), 2 wild boars named Piggy Sue and Jimmy Dean who thought they were puppies, 2 rabbits named Gumby and Pokey, and a fawn named Dosie Doe who was with us just a short time (we turned her over to a hooved animal preserve for re-entry to the wild), to name a few!
I enjoy traveling with family in the great outdoors exploring all the beauty that nature has to offer. Whether it be trail riding, camping, fishing, canoeing, biking, hiking, or star gazing by the camp fire, I love to be with my family and be as close to the wilderness as we can get. While home at our ranch in Creston, I enjoy cooking, gardening, horseback riding, shooting trap, skeet and sporting clays and spending time with family and friends.
I started my career in the financial Industry over 40 years ago. Since January 2011, it has been my pleasure to be a part of Dr. Freeman’s team. I truly enjoy my responsibilities as Financial and Treatment Coordinator. It is so rewarding to witness the transformation of the smiles and lives of both our children and adult patients every day while taking care of the financial details and coordinating treatment here as well as collaborating with other dental and medical professionals.
Dr. Freeman is passionate about what he does as a Specialty Orthodontist. He has genuine concern for his patients, keeps current on the most innovative treatments available and takes great pride in his work. The dedication he has for his craft sets an excellent example to follow and is very motivating. I respect my co-workers and appreciate the diversity and experience they bring to our team as well. Together, we strive to provide the best experience possible for our patients. Please give us a call for a complimentary exam. I look forward to meeting you soon!
Hi, my name is Feydra and I am proud of being a part of Dr. Freeman’s orthodontic practice.
I have been a dental assistant for 33 years and an RDA in the field of orthodontics for 23 of those years. I started working with Dr. Freeman in February of 2014. Over the years, as life and travel have taken me to different locales, I have worked in several orthodontic practices and experienced many different philosophies in the field. I very much enjoy working with Dr. Freeman and have learned a lot with his unique approach to orthodontics. He has a great sense of humor and an excellent chairside manner, not to mention a fabulous staff.
I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to California in 1989 when I turned 21 years old. I have made San Luis Obispo my home and I have 3 adult children who were born and raised here.
I enjoy spending time with my children, being out in nature, camping, hiking, and backpacking.
My name is Gabriela, and I like to go by Gabby. I have worked in Orthodontics for over 25 years, and still, LOVE it! I came from Mexico, as a little girl and I remember my dentist leaving a big impression on me (no pun intended) as she was the only girl dentist in my home town of Jalisco. I loved the way I felt after she filled a cavity in my front tooth and restored how it should look. I never forgot that feeling that I felt I could smile again and not be covering my mouth. My confidence was restored. Working in Orthodontics I get to help Dr. Freeman in helping our patients feel the same way. I have worked for Dr. Freeman for 4 years now and I love my job. For my hobby, I like setting out on the hiking trails. There are so many here I can’t wait to explore them all. I have 3 kids, teenagers and they love it here, it’s the best move we have made as a family.
My name is Renee’. I am an R.D.A. for over 30 years. I moved from the Bay Area to the Central Coast with my husband and four wonderful Sons, in 2002. My older boys have since grown and have moved on to their own adventures. My two youngest are serving in the Military, with one in the U.S. Airforce and the other a part of the U.S. Marine Corps. I was fortunate and excited to find and work with Dr. Freeman and his progressive, upbeat, Orthodontic practice. I have been a part of Dr. Freeman’s orthodontic family since 2002.
I enjoy learning from and assisting Dr. Freeman on many modern Orthodontic treatment cases but I especially like working with and getting to know the vast diversity of our patients and their families most of all.
As a sports enthusiast, I enjoy exercising and getting out and about with my family which now, joyfully includes Grandchildren.
Hello, I am Wendi and I have been on Dr. Freeman’s team since September 2018. Such a fun and professional atmosphere! I am truly enjoying my new work environment and amazing co-workers. I was born and raised on the Central Coast and have been in the dental/orthodontic field for over 25 years and love it. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, we have a son, a daughter and a new grandson. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, camp, wine taste and travel just about anywhere.
